I can name that composer in one note.

Given the following clues can you name the composer?
(Be the first to email us the right answers for two free tickets to an
upcoming show or CD for those of you from far far away)

Hint a lot of these guys can be found in the composer profiles featured
in these newsletters.

1. I was named after the founder of the boy scouts and I wrote the piece
Retrato Brasiliero. Who am I?

2. Although born in New York, I am one of the best known composers of
Argentine Tango. I wrote the piece Adios Nonino. Who am I?

3. I was a lively man who smoked cigars, listened incessantly to the
radio and wore loud clothing, my music was personal, intimate and
imbued with the colors of my life experience. When my life experience
wasn't colorful enough, I would make something up. Historians still
disagree about my date of birth! I wrote five famous Preludes for guitar.
Who am I?

4. I write mainly for guitar, although I have written a one act Opera called
Teresa Benedicta as well as a Symphonic Tone Poem called Hosea

. I am perhaps best known for my solo CD La Catedral. I write an
incredible fun newsletter that you enjoy reading. I maintain a website (
myname.com ) which you love to visit to keep up to date on upcoming
performances and recordings. I am you favorite guitarist...Okay maybe
